The Great Unexpected - Sharon Creech

A brilliant book with lots of twists and turns. It follows a twin narrative of two foster children in the USA and two old ladies in Ireland, all beginning with a boy dropping out of a tree - just like that.

I found this book really very funny and gripping. It was so easy to get to know the characters and I felt myself on the edge of my seat the whole time as the story unravelled with so many connections and unexpected links. It is incredibly well put together and I would recommend this book to anyone in years 7-11.

It a great book about a little boy named August pulllman. He has a diease that make his face deformed and look bad. The story is mainy about he with his deformed face going to school and actually making friends. I like this book because it is very real life and interesting.
