Percy Jackson was a normal boy going to school everyday with his friend Grover. Percy has dyslexia, and can not read properly, he also has ADHD. But then he finds out what he actually is, and it is not just an ordinary boy. He goes to a camp for ‘people like him’ and before he knows it he is fighting monsters and demons. When he is at camp he finds out who his dad is and who he is...
My favourite character in this book is definitely Percy because he is always ready to fight a monster or ghouls to save his friends and family. Percy is a relatable character to what we think would call a typical hero in a book, because he has a lot of bravery and is very daring. I think the book was very descriptive so it made me feel like I was actually fighting. The story also made me guess what was coming next because the book makes you stick to it like glue. My favourite part of the story was when Percy found out his background of his dad’s family. I really recommend this book for all ages. I would rate this book 10/10 on a rating app or website.
What I didn’t like about the book was that when you meet a knew character in the story they might die later in the book. For example if Percy finds a monster and fights with it, and then Percy wins and it is not mention in the book again.
In conclusion i think this book is excellent and i reccomend for everyone.
