Lord of the flies is a book about the adventure of a bunch of school boys on a abandoned island and how they try to survive and find rescue. They were horrified of things that don’t exist, things that were created by their minds. I like how the story keeps on making you guess about what’s going to happen and how you have to think hard to understand the story and link parts of the story to other parts. Once you’ve start getting into the book you can’t put it down, there lots of writing techniques in this book, all the description and symbolisation is what makes this book interesting and the fact the author uses foreshadowing makes you wonder about whats gonna happen next and you’ll just keep on reading.
There’s was a part of the book which was really trippy, you first won’t understand it but as you go further into the book it relates back to that part. Another part was that the author used a lot of symbolisation and description in one part and it was just so breathtaking. Overall I think this is one of the most interesting books I’ve read because of all the thinking and linking you have to do, I would recommend this book to reader that are 12+.
