Book Review: The Giver

This book is about a boy called Jonas who is going to be a new Memory Reciever. He starts to realize the facts of the community that he lives in.

My favorite character was the Giver because even though he is the reciever of the community, he still helpes Jonas to escape from the community and go to else where by teaching knowledges and feelings.

My favorite part was sharing feeling - the love. The Giver gave a memory of a birthday party with family to Jonas. He knew that there could be love.

But I didn’t quite like the ending part. I wanted it to continue a bit longer so that we can see how is another community and how does Jonas live there.

I would recommend this book to younger readers because the book makes the readers imagine what the community looks like or how the community works. Also it keeps the readers to wonder what will happen next.

It a great book about a little boy named August pulllman. He has a diease that make his face deformed and look bad. The story is mainy about he with his deformed face going to school and actually making friends. I like this book because it is very real life and interesting.
