This book is about a Jewish boy that has been in the Nazi’s Orphanage for three years. His name is Felix, he wanted to stay with his parents so Felix escaped from the Orphanage. When Felix got to the town that they used to live in, he can’t find his parents. After Felix knew that his parent got caught by the Nazis, Felix decided to go and look for them in the Jewish camp. During the way to the camp Felix saved a girl named Zelda. Her parents were dead and so Felix carried her to go together. They got caught by the Nazis but a man saved them but they all got caught at last. The Nazis forced them to go on the train but at last Felix and Zelda escaped from the train.
My favourite character is Zelda because she is only six but she won’t cry or shout like some other children. She is supposed to have a better life because her parents are actually Nazis but she decided to stay with Felix instead of going by herself. The story keep me guessing a lot, like what will happen to them if they got caught again. The book let me cry because Felix and Zelda are children but they are supposed to have a better life like other children this book also let me learn how is life during that time.
One thing I don’t like about the book is that when Zelda and Felix escape from the train, one of their friends died. It was sad because she is just a children and she got shots all over her body.
I recommend older children read it like 12years old or even older because there are some parts in the story that is talking about people being killed. I will rate the book 8 out of 10.
